Wed 11/10-Going back into the hospital

Saw an infection guy today.  He's not really happy with the progress, and he and Dr. D decided that another trip to the hospital is needed to clean out the affected area.  8-9pm is the likely surgery time.  Kind of hard to stay positive at times, but we are soldiering through it all.

Will try to update tonight after surgery.

  1. Anita, hang in there and "fight like hell" because you have it in you and you can. Believe it. We are all pulling for you and we know it is hard especially when you can't plan out your path right now. It is what it is, but you stay strong and BELIEVE with all you got that you will get past this and you will be well. Hang in there cousin. Strength and prayers are with you...

  3. Sorry to hear about the infection, and I am sure having more surgery is dissappointing for you. Hope things are looking up by the time you see this message! --Peggy

  4. Hi Auntie and Uncle,

We'll be praying for you tonight. Keep us posted. Ryan and I just came back from Hoag this morning for his procedure. They are great. Lots of love. Let us know if there's anything we can do.

    Love,

    Stephanie, Ryan and family

  6. 'loha Anita,
Sorry I've been MIA from blog but my prayers continue for you.
There's so much I want to share and talk about so I'll start with this devotional for the day.

What Cancer Cannot Do Cancer is so limited . . . It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot destroy peace. It cannot kill friendship. It cannot suppress memories. It cannot invade the soul. It cannot steal eternal life. It cannot conquer the spirit.

    much aloha and prayers, Leilani
